Imagine Peace is a treasure. The entire book, cover to cover, is gorgeously presented with the thoughtful, inspired pairing of Aleta’s poems with the photos and links to the many organizations doing their good work in the world. The poems are heartfelt and often very vulnerable. We are invited to contemplate our own joyful songs as well as our own heartbreak. And threading through that, the mystery of being alive. Even down to the snail! Who knew they can live to 25 years and crave affection? This is a noble, courageous work of a lifetime that will stand as a timeless tribute to the human spirit and our path towards a future that works for everyone. - JEREMY NASH
Poetry is one of the most interesting inventions in humanity. A poem is a large thought condensed into few words...even "long" poems like epics and odes are condensed stories. The poet is an observer of all that is seen and unseen, and a knower of self. Certain poets, like Aleta Antoinette, are able to take this art form even further because they combine it with a cause, a call to action. Every poem in this book has a call to act, but the most important call is the way readers are asked to support other causes to make a positive difference in their lives and in the lives of others. The poetry is inspiring (sometimes fun and funny, but always thought-provoking), and the photography is gorgeous. This book is designed for display, but it is also designed to be held in the hands...and taken in by the heart. It makes a great gift...and a great book to keep for yourself when you take a little time for yourself to read words strung with truth, beauty, and goodness. - LEERREAD
Aleta's poetry has taken me on a journey deep into places that I rarely visit anymore. Places that need to be visited and spoken to and touched with gentle words. Thank you Aleta for sharing so much of yourself here. I also want to acknowledge her powerful sense of Philanthropy as she strives to connect us to the many people and organizations that are committed to changing our world for the better. This book now rests on my coffee table so I can pick it up whenever I feel in need of fresh inspiration.

This book is like a mini retreat or a vacation by the shore. It’s full of beautiful words accompanied with visual images to stimulate the mind and soul. Aleta translates feelings and emotions into words that are universal. She connects with the reader on a deep level. But most importantly themes of caring for the earth, animals and the children of the world who might be hurt or suffering makes this a book for anyone with a compassionate heart.
As someone who has worked for nonprofit organizations for most of my life, I am so grateful when an author chooses to support not only one charity but so many as author Aleta Antoinette has done here. I believe 80 charities are named with ways to connect to them. Aleta has created a masterpiece of heartfelt sentiments but also a call to wake up to the world around us.
